Limits that restrict your activity (reducing a deposit cap, activating a loss limit, starting a time-out) take effect immediately and cannot be reversed or reduced during the cooling-off window specified for each tool. Limits that increase your activity (raising a deposit cap) require a minimum 7-day waiting period before they can take effect, giving you time to reconsider.

What Happens During a Time-Out
